I’m a big, big fan of the King. So it was amazing to make this music video for Sony & Elvis Presley Estate’s new Elvis album ‘Viva Elvis’. Suspicious Minds is the title track from the album and one of my favourites. The brief was to make Elvis the new big star who is performing to us now. Footage was chosen from his 68 comeback special because of how great he looked and his brilliant performance. Elvis was mostly kept in silhouette as he didn’t actually sing Suspicious Minds in the special, instead the editor Nick Hristou chose and synced up shots where his body language made him look like he was performing the track. Thanks to Passion Pictures and the fantastic crew for making this happen.

This is a viral I did for the new documentary Burma VJ. The film is the product of covertly shot footage of the Monk’s peaceful uprising in Sept 2007 and the subsequent military action. This is a title sequence that I co directed for Jerry Seinfeld’s new creation ‘The Marriage ref’.

Using a script penned by Jerry, myself and Tim Hope brought Jerry, his wife Jessica and host Tom Papa to life in a 2d animated baseball themed analogy (Jerry is a massive fan of the game) to explain its origin and meaning. It was broadcast before the start of NBC’s new flagship show to 14.5 million viewers.

Our influence was the simple and stylish 60s classic TV titles like Bewitched and I dream of Jeannie. The animation, which was done in a combination of Flash and traditional 2d, leaned towards the limited look of those early shows, with fuller animation used in the sporty action sequences.

This is my educational film about the liver. It was produced over 5 months for Jazzy de Lisser and the British Liver Trust. The music was written by Coco Sumner, Miquita Oliver did the great voice over. It’s aimed at 13-18 year olds and is an over view of what the liver does, what can go wrong and how to look after it. Raising the profile of one of the most important organs in the body.

A killer bunny themed music video I did for Cornershop called ‘Free Love’. Edited by the fantastic Nick Hristou and produced by Passion Pictures. It was made over a 2 month period with 2d by Tim Divall & Andy Peel and stopframe animation by myself. The foil planet was made by the very talented Illustrator Kate Slater. The track is taken from their album Judy Sucks A Lemon For Breakfast.
It was video of the week on BBC radio 6, which I was interviewed for on Cary Matthews show.
